Welcome to Lionmede Bowls club

Lionmede Bowls Club became an established club in 1954. It caters for bowlers wishing to just socialise and keep active, as well as bowlers wishing to compete at County and National levels. There are many club events during the season and the opportunity to play in both competitive and friendly games for all.

It is a sport which is open to men and women of all ages and abilities, which is both friendly and competitive. Whether you’ve never played before or are an existing bowler looking for a club to join, then we would love to hear from you. We can provide tuition and coaching sessions if required. Looking for a new sport – why not have a go at Lawn Bowls?

A couple of pictures to cheer you as we go into our closed season.

Ron Brand and Steve Foster had to dress as Ladies for our Ladies versus Gents match! And a lovely couple they made!

Well Done to Lionmede
