On Monday 18th July, Lionmede Bowls Club were pleased to host the annual competion arranged by the Borough Parks department for the Maureen Mould Trophy.
In a closely fought contest between, Chelsford BC, Hall Street Methodist BC, Lionmede BC, South Woodham Ferrers BC and Trinity BC, the bowlers battled to lift the trophy, amply supplied with refreshments courtesy of the Parks department and the helpers from Lionmede BC.
The final game down to a contest between South Woodham Ferrers and Trinity. With the sun shining Trinty narrowly beat SWF and were presented with the trophy by Councillor Maureen Mould. |
